WHERE AND WHEN DO I VOTE? You may cast your vote either at school or here in the New Canaan Library. You may vote only once, and all votes must be received by January 31st.
HOW DO I VOTE? Vote for your favorite Teen Nutmeg on the ballot form (available in the YA area and in the Children's Room), fill in the information about yourself, and put the ballot in the Nutmeg ballot box in the Children's Room.

TEEN READ WEEK

Teen Read Week this year is October 12-18.
The 2008 theme is BOOKS WITH BITE. Think vampires, horror, mystery, supernatural....... Be sure to drop by the New Canaan Library YA area this week to get some great books, audiobooks, graphic novels, and DVDs from the Teen Read Week display.
And Teen Read Week is your chance to vote for your favorite books on the Teens' Top Ten list -- the annual book award where the candidates and the winners are chosen by teens. There are copies of the list on the Library's YA shelves, or you can look at it here:

"TEEN SCENE" Monthly Book Recommendations

Special Author Event at the Outback this Friday

The Library subscribes to a great online SAT prep site called PREPME -- it's FREE to you as a New Canaan Library card holder. PREPME will give you up to 60 hours of lessons, practice tests, and quizzes customized to your needs.
