Have you read Twilight or Eldest or 13 Little Blue Envelopes or Skybreaker? They're all on the list of books competing for the Teens' Top Ten award for 2006 -- books chosen by teens, reviewed by teens, and about to be voted on by teens.
During Teen Read Week every year, readers nationwide between the ages of 12 and 18 vote for their favorite books of the year, resulting in the "Teens' Top Ten." Here's a link to the 22 nominated titles for this year:
2006 Nominations for TTT
and here's a list of last year's winners: 2005 TTT
Vote online during Teen Read Week, Oct. 15-21!
And on Tuesday Oct. 24th, one of the TTT nominated authors -- Maureen Johnson, who wrote 13 Little Blue Envelopes -- will be at the library to talk about her new book, Devilish. Come hear her at 4 pm in the Adrian Lamb Room.
